EUROSOL in the finals of Entrepreneur 2011 by Ernst & Young
Ludwigshafen, 15th September 2011 - The Ludwigshafen-based solar company EUROSOL is among the finalists of the Entrepreneur 2011. For the last 15 years, the accounting and consulting company Ernst & Young awards the most innovative medium sized businesses in Germany. After a multistage selection of 300 companies, 65 reached the finals - EUROSOL is among them.
"The 65 finalists are characterized by particular innovation, thanks to the huge efforts from their highly qualified and motivated employees. They have efficient organization structures and short decision paths and can thus respond flexibly to changing market conditions. Is is a strong field and thus no easy task for the judges, "says Wolfgang Glauner, project manager of the competition.

The companies in the final set significant growth rates. They represent all major industries, achieve an average turnover of 86 million € per year and employ 500 people. 2010 they hired around 2,600 new employees.

Ernst & Young organizes the contest for companies ?ntrepreneur of the year in over 50 countries. In Germany the prize in 2011 is given the 15th time. A neutral jury selects the winners in five categories. Outstanding business achievements are identified and rewarded. The competition is supported by major companies and media outlets, including the DZ BANK, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and Manager Magazin.
